Summer’s Coming!

Summer at Villari’s means a lot of things: t-shirts, schedule changes, weekend events, tournaments!  Make sure you keep track of the goings on through our website, found at www.ucvillaris.com.  Summer’s also a great time to bring friends in and win yourself some of the rewards for supporting our studio!

T-Shirts, Uniforms, and standing in line!

Studio t-shirts can be worn in place of a uniform top starting on June 1^st.  Students with shirts from previous years, tournaments, or special events can start wearing their shirts right away.  This year’s t-shirts are expected in a week or so.  Students allowed to wear the teaching t-shirts should wear them only during classes when they are actually teaching, and should bring a uniform top or a change of t-shirt for their regular classes.  Belt stripes and Colors of Character bars still count, and questions should be brought to Miss King’s attention, and not solved with elbow-throwing.  Remember, assistant teachers get to stand as high in line as possible, no matter date of rank or age.

Kid’s Rank Test

We’re starting the summer early with a kid’s test.  This one’s a big one, so we’re taking a special time block from 11:30 PM – 1:30 PM on Saturday to put everyone through their paces.  Make sure that participants come prepared with weapons, notebooks, sparring gear, and their knowledge questions!

End of School Year Party!

This is going to be a good chance to blow off steam as the school year ends.  We’ll be starting with a crazy-karate class for everyone and guests, including material not usually covered with kid’s classes. We’ll be showing a kid’s movie after that to let everyone settle down, then dinner, and an overnight at the studio with more movies and more crazy games.  Breakfast in the morning and into the regular Saturday class gives everyone something to do before being picked up.  See the studio signup for cost and more details.

July 1^st at Mashpee High School

Thursday, July 1^st is the community fireworks at Mashpee High School.  Most of our classes will be completed by 7:00 PM, so there will be plenty of time to get to the fireworks after classes!

Summer Schedule Change

Tuesday, July 6^th we will be adjusting our classes for the summer.  This means earlier tot’s classes, extra adult classes, and morning family sessions for the beach-goers.  If you have particular requests, please make sure you let us know so we can try to take everyone into account. An official schedule will be posted at the studio and the website by June 14^th.
